Dear Parents and Pupils, Thank you so much for all your kind and beautiful messages, cards and gifts after the show, it was such a fantastic weekend! We are so proud of how the students performed and supported one another; older students assisting younger members to the wings or helping each other with quick changes (and there were some really quick changes!). A huge thank you to the parents who were front of house and in the dressing rooms multi-tasking with hair, make-up, costume changes, keeping children entertained and making sure the students were in the right place at the right time, you were phenomenal! Photos Sarah Prescott has uploaded the show photos to her website, you can go online and view the ones from the rehearsal weekend and the actual show – they are fabulous. Hoodies and Costumes If you owe for hoodies and costumes, please settle asap and make sure, if you’re paying into the school account, you clearly state what the money is for. Timetable Changes There have been a few minor changes to the timetable (see below) for the Friday classes. Polling Day Thursday 1st May Absent or Discontinuing Classes Please can you inform us if your child is going to be away for more than two weeks or if they are discontinuing classes. I would like to point out that we do not insist on a term’s notice or a term’s fees in lieu of notice as many other schools do, but we do expect to be informed well in advance of the beginning of term if your child is not continuing. Ballet Exams I am hoping to hold exams in July but am still waiting for confirmation from the Imperial Society of Dancing. I will let you know asap when the exams will be held and if they apply to you or your child. Uniform Let me know if you need any uniform and I can order it for you, payment can be made to school account, details below. For those of you who remember Millie, she is approaching the end of her her third year at Central School of Ballet and will be performing with their touring company, Ballet Central, across the country over the next few months, we wish her a wonderful time and the best of luck.

| Massive congratulations to Daisy (second from the left in this lovely bunch) who as well as finding time to choreograph for our show, has been busy auditioning for vocational colleges and has received offers from Trinity Laban, Italia Conti and Northern Contemporary where she will start in the autumn. Daisy has also been accepted into the National Youth Dance Company again this summer, she’ll be performing at the Sadlers Wells in London again and touring with the company to Berlin. Go Daisy! We will miss you so much, your versatility, your acting skills, your passion and hard work have paid off, we are so delighted to see you achieve your goals. |
